ITC Defense Corp. Awarded FMS Contract to Develop, Test and Install a Vehicle Management System for Allied Ministry of Defense

ARLINGTON, VA (February 11, 2016)— ITC Defense Corp. has been awarded a $7.7 million sole source Foreign Military Sales contract to develop, test, install, train and support a Vehicle Management System (VMS) for an Allied Ministry of Defense (MOD).

Managed by the Army’s Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM), contract performance will establish centralized tracking and secure transmission of GPS data. ITC will develop and test a customized, state-of-the-art vehicle management and tracking software, manage the installation of GPS units, and integrate communications for a total vehicle management solution. In addition, ITC will provide system specific Operator and Maintenance training and user support through the lifecycle of the contract, Feb 28, 2018.

ITC brings agile methodologies, tools, and robust industry talent together to design this innovative software package which will allow for enhanced vehicle management and longer asset lifecycles.
