Martin (Marty) Fields leads ITC’s Supply Chain Management Program, supporting the Kuwait Ministry of Defense. Marty served in a variety of key leadership positions afloat and ashore during his 41-year Navy career and brings over 30 years of logistics experience to ITC.
At sea, he served as Supply Officer on USS Fife (DD 991); Stock Control and Aviation Support Division Officer on USS Belleau Wood (LHA 3); Readiness Officer on USS Constellation (CV 64); and Supply Officer on USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72).
Ashore, Marty had assignments at Naval Air Station, Whidbey Island, Wa; Naval Inventory Control Point, Philadelphia, Pa; Commander, Naval Surface Force, San Diego, Ca; Joint Staff J4, Washington, D.C.; Assistant Chief of Staff for Logistics and Infrastructure (N4), Naval Forces Central Command/U.S. Fifth Fleet, Bahrain; Commanding Officer, Fleet Logistics Center Yokosuka, Japan; Director, Supply Operations and Fleet Services, U. S. Fleet Forces Command, Norfolk, Va; Director, Supply Corps Personnel in Millington, Tn; and Assistant Chief of Staff for Logistics and Ordnance (N41), Commander, Naval Surface Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet, San Diego, Ca.
Marty is a qualified Naval Aviation Supply Officer and Surface Warfare Supply Officer. He is also a Joint Qualified Officer and a member of the Acquisition Professional Community.
Marty graduated from Chapman College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and a Master of Arts degree in Business Administration and Organizational Leadership from Chapman University. Marty is a graduate of the Joint Forces Staff College, University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School Advanced Program in Logistics and Technology, and the Dartmouth College Tuck School of Business Executive Education Program.
